Official Statement by Drunk Prom Date

As you all know our President has come out in support of a
constitutional amendment to ban all queer marriages. In a statement
released today by Drunk Prom Date's Public Relations firm Alfred,
Howard, & Corky "DPD is strongly against such actions, if for no other
reason than it will virtually ruin the existence of Drunk Prom Date."

See, Drunk Prom Date likes to marry a blend of honky tonk math rock with
a splash of Taiwanese Polka. Queer combination isn't it? Under the new
amendment proposed by President Bush this rock and roll marriage would
no longer be legal. As a matter of fact all of Drunk Prom Date's show
would be in direct violation of the planned amendment.

In an act of civil disobedience, and a paycheck, Drunk Prom Date vows to
rock on and will be performing this Saturday at Cactus Jacks. Don't let
DPD's queer marriage of the Pop Country Dixie Chicks combined with the
Old School Punk of The Misfits be taken away from you. Bring your
friends, bring your wives, bring your husbands and help us say "I do" to
rock and roll.
